A DREAM WITHIN A DREAM.

An illustrated poster for the University of Baltimore’s Spotlight UB program.

To promote the Spotlight UB performance art event, Poe Night, I created an illustrated poster. The textured and realistic style involved hand drawing and then digitally scanning and layering multiple sketches. Along with the portrait of Edgar Allan Poe, I drew important symbols from the three stories being performed—a heart, a cat, and a raven—and layered text from those stories to create greater depth in the poster.
