INCREASING CROSS-CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING.

Two books showcasing the traveling exhibitions and design departments within International Arts & Artists (IA&A).

Interning at an art non-profit created the opportunity to work with artists and artwork from around the world. Designing for the artistic community inspired me to use bright colors, beautiful imagery, fun layouts and expressive graphic elements to support and display the artwork. I worked with the art director, Simon Fong, to format both books using playful and bold compositions that reflected IA&A’s personality.

The design department book features images from the Tools as Art collection interwoven with IA&A’s iconic ampersand. The ampersand becomes more defined as the book progresses. The traveling exhibitions catalog features artwork from the available shows.
